Fashion Brand Review: Love Street




One of my favorite brands of all time is Love Street. I first discovered on a youtube influencers Instagram post where she tagged the brand. I immediately fell in love with the aesthetic, marketing tactics and of course the clothes this online boutique offered. Below, you can see their brand images from their Instagram.



The brand was established in 2013, Love Street is located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Since it is a smaller brand, they do not currently have an Wikipedia page or any websites going into detail about their finances, etc. However, the brand flourishes immensely. The brand prides itself on its uniquely curated collection of new and vintage items. They even have sponsor handmade products from brands they care about; including Female Empowerment, Animal Rescue and Honeybee Conservation. Their most popular assortment is their bralette line, which offers an array of different styles, colors, padding and fabrics. Since it is a boutique style retailer, most items do not get restocked when it sells out, which is tough when I am constantly telling myself that I need to save money.




Above are examples from their website about new items that have been the most recent items in their assortment. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic I cannot say I was disappointed in the newest selections because I understand why a lot of items are not being restocked, or newer items in their accessories, tops and shoes assortment. Their brand is very on-trend with the whole boutique, Instagram influencer and VSCO savvy aesthetic that it gives off. The pricing ranges from $5.00 to $100.00 USD. The expensive end mostly being from their Vintage selection. My favorite items from this brand are their shoes, pants and the sweaters. They offer some of the best selection in cozy, light sweaters. The pants fit true to size even though they offer only small-large. And, I know that I get my money's worth when I purchase a pair of their shoes. The swimsuits they offer also fit really closely to my true size and are really good durability.

The advertising I can truly visualize for this brand is the on-trend marketing tactic of gaining brand ambassadors from well-known Instagram and Youtube influencers who have a following of at least 700,000+ followers. I think finding that niche market will open up this brand even more to new customers. I do believe that it will be successful if the brand ever decide to go with this tactic. According to their Instagram, Love Street has close to 500,000 followers, which is pretty impressive especially if you can say you never heard of this brand. However, by opening up to new people talking about this brand, showing it off on social media and tracking the background analytics and foot traffic from links, etc. I think the brand can really begin to make it a full name for itself.
